NORTH SAILS

Lowell North, founder of the North Sails brand was beyond your typical sailor. As early as 1957, this American engineer set out to design his own sails to improve his performance. Today, the same expertise is applied in the manufacturing of marine clothing, that are resistant to all weather conditions and comfortable enough to provide free movement for sailing. Both men's and women's collections can be worn on a daily basis, incorporating technical and practical features. These innovations are enhanced by the eco-friendly endeavors undertaken by North Sails, that also became inherent to its DNA. The brand advocates for the preservation of the oceans and is a partner of the Ocean Family Foundation and the Tara Ocean Foundation. It is committed to reducing the use of plastic, water consumption and CO2 emissions, by using sustainable materials and recycled plastic for some of its models. Since 1988, the brand has also been a partner of the America's Cup, for which it supplies sails and a collection of personalized clothing adorned with the sponsor's logo.
