For 70 years, Façonnable has been designing collections that reflect the solar, colourful timelessness of the Côte d'Azur. It began in 1950, when Jean Goldberg, passionate about the craftsmanship of his family - master tailors from Eastern Europe - settled in Nice. He soon opened his first atelier on the rue Paradis, in the city centre. After completing his studies, Jean's son Albert joined him in the business, and in 1961, they created Façonnable, a family-owned ready-to-wear brand from men. The shirt became their signature item, earning acclaim from year to year. Since 1950, Façonnable stands out in terms of production, in large part thanks to its choice of high-quality materials, like durable woven Italian cotton and fabrics with a shimmering, pearly finish, renowned in the industry for silky results in any garment. In the tradition of French elegance, Façonnable is known for its singularly cut shirts, casual in style and optimal in terms of comfort. Echoing the Mediterranean setting of the Côte d'Azur, the brand's designs feature a palette of blues. Whether in poplin or denim, in classic or contemporary cuts, Façonnable lets its customers choose freely from its full range of menswear. Among the brand's essentials, find the iconic cotton Oxford, striped shirts, or perfect jackets in leather, blended wool or lighter fabrics depending on the season.
