In 2012, three young entrepreneurs founded Monsieur Moustache with one goal in mind: to shake up the world of shoes by offering original models, like the inimitable white sneaker, that are impeccably-made. Here, it's all about elegance — but that doesn't mean that quality and short-circuit production aren't major foundations of this label. In 2013 the brand had already hit the symbolic milestone of over 100 resellers in France, including prestigious department stores and concept locations. 2015 saw the launch of the first women's collection, and 2016 would mark the opening of MM's first Parisian boutique as well as the launch of the must-have René, a tennis shoe in white leather whose subtly graphic lines are elevated by a colored suede detail. By carefully selecting their partners and workshops, the brand has been able to find the happy equilibrium between reducing their environmental impact and employing only the finest materials. Recycling is at the center of MM's philosophy, and in 2019 the label launched a shoe-recycling program in all of its locations. With each model imagined, tested, and approved by the team, traditional craftsmanship sourced in Portugal, and technical materials that are totally of-the-moment, Monsieur (and Madame!) Moustache can count on sunny days ahead.
