MAISON VIOLET

Created in 1927 by Monsieur François-Etienne Violet, the eponymous French perfume brand slowly lost its renown after the economic crisis of 1929, and then closed in 1955. However, in 2017, Anthony, Paul and Victorien, three classmates passionate about the secrets of perfume, rediscovered this century-old brand. Seduced by its history and values, they worked not only to restore it, but to reinvent it. They chose to maintain the brand's original logo, the shape of a bee, an iconic symbol of the Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon the Third, famed patron of Maison Violet. Since the renewal of the brand, the trio has brought updates to this vintage perfumery. Each product recounts a unique story and recollections of another time for a memorable moment, revealing each note. Thanks to the rediscovered know-how of the maison, each perfume is designed in Paris and then produced in Switzerland, under the supervision of professional craftsmen. Respectful of the environment and sustainability, the ingredients are natural for responsible perfumes made responsibly.
