Founded in 2007 Kilian Hennesy, the heir to a long line of industrials specialized in Cognac, Kilian is inspired by his roots and his childhood in this idyllic countryside in southwest France. After training as a perfumer with some of the most important noses in the business and at prestigious houses like Dior, Paco Rabanne, Alexander McQueen, and Armani, the fragrance lover founded his eponymous label with the desire to conjugate French luxury and elegance with scent. Kilian perfumes evoke rich forests and sugary booze, something like the air through a summer vineyard. In 2017, ten years after its launch, the label offered no fewer than 35 different fragrances and five separate collections — "L'œuvre noir," "Arabian Nights," "Asian Tales," "In the Garden of Good & Evil," and "Addictive State of Mind."
