GANNI TAKES OVER PRINTEMPS HAUSSMANN
Last year, founders Ditte and Nicolaj Reffstruf introduced Ganni to Parisians by setting up their first address in a 65 square meter shop-in-shop at Printemps.
"I lived in Paris when I started working in fashion as a buyer and it is one of my favorite cities to find inspiration," states Ditte Reffstrup. "For me, it is a dream come true to be able to open a space in one of the most internationally respected department stores."
In France and beyond, Ganni's success is undeniable and everyone aspires to take up the relaxed attitude of Copenhagen's inhabitants. This is a major inspiration for the label's collections, which is once more apparent in the Spring-Summer 2021 line. Created around the concept of "sharing", the underlying theme of the new season, it includes all the key elements that have made the brand famous. The floral and leopard prints give joy to a wardrobe to be worn in the upcoming sunny days. Dresses are adorned with puffed sleeves and blouses accentuated with extra-wide collars that exude a romantic and retro feel. Straight 90's style jeans and accessories can only complete the wardrobe of a confident woman who is not afraid to express herself!
In keeping up with Ganni's commitment to sustainable development, 70% of the collection was designed using eco-responsible methods and includes pieces made from recycled fabrics. Throughout its manufacturing process, from the operation of its factories to the materials used, the Danish label is determined to limit its impact on the environment.
