Launched in 2014 by the thirty-something designer of the same name, the brand quickly carved out a place for itself on the jewellery landscape after showcasing at the luxury concept store, Montaigne Market. A graduate from ESMOD Paris, Yvonne initially got involved with the fashion industry, kicking off her career as a stylist and editorial assistant. Coming from a family of jewellers, passed down from father to son, the young woman couldn't escape her destiny. Passionate about period pieces, like her parents who own a vintage shop in Paris, she spent her free time at flea markets and in the workshop at the back of the store, mending her antique jewellery finds. This is how the popular gold owl ring with ruby eyes was created, a favourite of the R&B diamond herself, Rihanna.
The label's best-seller? The under-the-ear design. A piece of jewellery created in 1980 by Mr Léon (the founder's father) for his wife who longed to wear earrings without having to pierce her ears a second time.
