Signed by Mizensir, this new interpretation of Perfect Oud takes up the theme of its predecessor: the fascination and memory of an extraordinary wood slowly burning on embers. But here, Alberto Morillas delves into the very heart of the wood, as if zooming in on the material, exploring its richness, power, and magic. Alaskan cedar, with its mineral and densely leathery inflections, remains the main protagonist, while revealing a new liveliness with cardamom and an almost liqueur-like depth with rum. The contrast between these two extremes is heightened, the floral and ambery note that rounds out the composition is expressed with more intensity. The memory of this wood then returns with more strength and mystery.
