Founded in 2018 by the two London-based designers Ed Spurr and Amy Hall Browne, Ilex Studio offers a selection of minimalist, ultra-design-y vases that anyone can enjoy to cultivate and plant trees. Available in a multitude of colours, the two famous models, the Acorn Vase and the Avocado Vase, are designed in borosilicate glass, allowing the observer to watch their seed (an acorn or an avocado pit) ripen and develop roots. They are pieces that celebrate the beauty of nature, to gift to someone else or yourself!
