      Perfumes inspired by memories, places and experiences. That's the concept behind D.S. & Durga, launched in 2008 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The story of the brand began with David Seth Moltz (DS), a self-taught musician, and his wife, Kavi Ahuja Moltz (Durga), a trained architect. David wanted to create fragrances that reminded him of his childhood, while Kavi would take care of merchandising and design. Together, the couple developed a universe where each fragrance serves as a means of expression. It was a bold challenge which is reflected in the brand's name as well as in the descriptions of its perfumes, which are often poetic and evocative. For example, the El Cosmico perfume, inspired by the desert landscapes of Marfa, Texas, presents a surprising blend of desert shrub, pepper and pine. The fragrance Radio Bombay celebrates the vibrant streets and colourful markets of Bombay, with its delicious blend of sandalwood, iris and musk. The brand also offers a range of scented candles, like Burning Barbershop, Holy Ficus and Breakfast Leipzig. Since its creation, the brand has conquered the hearts of connoisseurs around the world, becoming a symbol of creativity and excellence.
