Their aim was to create a highly cultural luxury brand where form would be as important as substance. It was in 1995 that this former communications director of the Rochas house and this former artistic director at the head of her advertising agency joined forces to establish the house that bears their name. They publish between sixty and seventy beautiful books every year about fashion, design & architecture, art and travel. Richly illustrated, these "coffee table books" feature among major fashion houses Dior and Chanel, but also mainstream brands such as Mattel and Coca-Cola. Looking to expand, Assouline now offers stylish furniture and accessories also designed for decoration or to add the finishing touch to any library.
