NU ATELIER

Founded in 2017, the Nu Atelier creates jewelry that goes beyond conventional gender norms, inviting everyone to don its creations as they wish. The brand is also known for its eco-responsible manufacturing, since each piece is made from solid gold and silver sourced through the European recycling industry, a less polluting alternative to mining. Unlike many of its competitors, Nu Atelier has chosen to exclude the use of plating, gold, aluminum and plastic to guarantee durable and fully reusable jewelry. The initiative also extends to its packaging, made of largely recycled cardboard, paper and fabrics...The brainchild behind this project? Claire Roche, a native of the Drôme where she received a Professional certificate in jewelry in Valence before graduating from business school. After several years working in marketing at Sephora, the young woman embraced her passion by launching her own jewelry label: Nu Atelier. Entirely Made in France, and more precisely in the Rhône-Alpes region, the collections are handcrafted in workshops certified by Joailliers de France and Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant. The brand is distinguished by its crafting excellence, the quality of noble metals used as well as a minimalist and gender-fluid aesthetic. Two-finger rings, unique earrings with nail clasps, bracelets reminiscent of a tool and necklaces with refined links, all emanate a strong visual identity. Sustainable, ethical and experimental, Nu Atelier employs people in rehabilitation and optimizes its social and environmental impact each season by offering exceptional hybrid pieces.
