      Carhartt Wip Men
      Born in 1889 in the industrial city of Detroit, Michigan, the American label Carhartt remains one of the leaders of casual style today. Initially specialised in the production of workwear, the brand evolved with the times and found a place of prestige in the European market. Its wild success is owed to the company's founder Hamilton Carhartt. From its beginnings, the brand supplied clothing made from durable materials perfectly suitable for changing weather and the needs of workers. With only four sewing machines and five employees, the determined visionary released his first overalls and tailored work jackets in cotton. In 1980, about 100 years later, the company entered the sportswear market under the guidance of Edwin Faeh, breathing new life into the brand. Carhartt became Carhartt Wip and a favourite of ski and skate pros. Skaters swore by Carhartt Wip, whose first pair of tough cotton denim jeans, launched in 1998, were characterised by a straight, wide cut, a low waist and two back pockets with the signature logo embroidered between them. Two years later, the brand partnered with the Californian king of trainers, Vans, launching an iconic collaboration that timeless and cool. Carhartt Wip clothing also rated highly with BMX riders and bikers. The results? Pieces designed for a high level of comfort and resistance to falls and scrapes on the asphalt. The company diversified its range, imposing itself as a major player in the domain, while safeguarding its original mantra: To design ready-to-wear that's highly durable over time.
