Géraldine Archambault has been passionate about perfumery since childhood. Perhaps this is why she can't help but deplore that luxury fragrances are so expensive, and that the artisan perfumers that compose them are so often relegated to the shadows. And of course, the environmental policies of many of today's big brands leave something to be desired. Great ills call for great remedies, and in 2018 Archambault founded Essential Parfums. It's a project that aims to limit its environmental impact, all while carefully and thoughtfully choosing raw materials and packaging, betting on simplicity and sophistication to make exceptional perfumes available to all. In order to accomplish this, excessive packaging and superfluous advertising are done away with: chic, simple bottles hold precious contents composed by talented, prestigious perfumers — themselves seduced by the adventure and game to contribute to building such a laudable brand with exclusive juices. Sent directly from production to sales points, without relying on intermediaries, Essential Parfums' refined fragrances are composed of a handful of natural ingredients, placing them in stark contrast with a market ruled by synthetics.
