Bombers Original Men

Since its founding in the 1950s, the brand Bombers Original®, specialised in its eponymous jackets, has not aged. Originally designed for purely utilitarian needs, its Ma-1 and B15 jackets were quickly adopted by air force and marine pilots of the American army. Warm and durable inside and outside the cockpit, these short jackets (so as not to get in the way of ejector seats) were made in lined orange nylon for visibility in case of an accident. The zippered chest or arm pocket are perfect for a pen or ID. Over the years, these "flight jackets" have not lost their appeal. They were popularised in turn by James Dean and later Tom Cruise in Top Gun, as well as American rappers Dr. Dre and 2Pac in the 90s. It's a re-appropriation that spans the decades brilliantly without distorting the style of the original model.
