      Weinsanto Women
A real fashion prodigy, Victor Weinsanto first made a sensation opening Paris Fashion Week for the Spring Summer 2023 season. It was just a taste of the madness of this young creator who, at only 29 years-old, already accomplished daring feats, sending drag queens Paloma and La Grande Dame (winner and finalist of Ru Paul's Drag Race in France) down the runway. Victor seduces with his enchanting universe where burlesque and contemporary meet, paying homage to the great Thierry Mugler. Born in Souffelweyersheim, near Strasbourg, Victor became passionate about classical dance at age 4 and started studying at a prestigious school in Stuttgart at age 13. Realising that the required rigor and lack of freedom didn't work for him, the young Alsatian spent his free time watching and decoding runway shows on social media. At 18, he decided to change his profession and joined the Atelier Chardon Savard, following in the footsteps of Jean-Paul Gaultier. In 2020, after leaving the prestigious couture house of the "enfant terrible" of fashion, Victor launched his eponymous brand with an exuberant and uncommon style, featuring oversized hairstyles, braided silhouettes and all kinds of asymmetry. Weisanto's art is as aesthetic as it is militant, normalising inclusivity of age, body, gender and ethnicity, as well as focusing on environmental and social issues. The designer partnered with Nona Source, an online deadstock platform, earning Weisanto recognition from Forbes magazine as one of the 30 under 30 creating the future of fashion and art in Europe. Beyonce also chose one of his looks for her "World Renaissance Tour" in May 2023.
