Much more than a cosmetics brand, Le Domaine celebrates the art of living well and a return to basics. Its origins? The legacy of the Perrin family, winemakers since 1909 of the Château de Beaucastel in Provence. In 2012, they met Brad Pitt, who had fallen in love with the region and had notably acquired the Château de Miraval a few years prior. Thanks to the help of the Perrin family, the American actor revived the Domaine de Miraval, cultivating vines quickly, and forging a friendship. Perrin and Pitt discovered a shared set of values when it comes to preserving nature and the ecosystem, and began an ambitious project: Le Domaine. Ambitious because the products are based on the research of two professors, Pierre-Louis Teissedre, specialist in wine and health, and Nicolas Lévy, Director of Science of Rare Diseases working for a major pharmaceutical group. While the former developed GSM10®, a super powerful antioxidant ingredient derived from the Perrin family's grape seeds, the latter co-founded a medical startup, ProGeLife, which patented ProGR3®, a particle that reduces the toxicity of progerin (the protein produced through ageing). Le Domaine includes four high-end products: the Serum, the Cream, the Fluid Cream and the Cleansing Emulsion. Vegan, gender-free and adapted to all types of skin, the products reveal a delicate fragrance blending notes of iris, orange blossom, musk and wood. Uniting the science of terroir, Le Domaine is the skincare brand giving everyone the possibility of ageing well and taking care of themselves.
