The story of Eden Park began in 1987 when Franck Mesnel and Eric Blanc, two international rugby players of France's Racing Club (one of the era's most prestigious sports clubs), decided to create a high-end clothing brand. Because these young athletes wore eccentric pink bowties at the time, this became the logo of Eden Park. In terms of its name, Eden Park references one of the most hallowed rugby pitches. From its beginnings, the brand has dressed the best rugby clubs, like France's XV, Stade Français, Racing Métro 92, the British and Irish Lions, as well as other British and French clubs. The brand also partnered with Roland Garros in the 90s as well as with the Lancôme Golf Trophy. Today, the brand is largely open to the public and its rugby spirit shines brighter than ever. Whatever the collection, thanks to a studied design process and serious attention to detail, the Eden Park heritage remains graphically present. The oval ball shape can be found on buttons and contrasting stripes appear on t-shirts as well as on linings of blazers, jackets and coats. The colour pink appears often, as does the bowtie logo, appliqued on polos, or more discretely, embroidered on the inside of a jacket collar, for example. There are so many details that allow Eden Park to perpetuate its singular, cool, atypical aura.
