Alexandre Birman Women

Alexandre Birman was destined to become a shoemaker -- according to his father Anderson Birman, chairman of the shoe brand Arezzo & Co, he was even born in a shoebox. Alexandre followed in his father's footsteps and accompanied him on his routine at the factory from the age of six, creating his first pair of shoes at just 12 years old. At 19, the young prodigy spread his wings and launched the brand Schutz instead of joining the family business. Spurred on by the success of this first company, Alexandre Birman then established his self-titled brand in 2008. His designs are crafted for the sophisticated modern woman, eager to rock the most exclusive designs: bold and refined pumps, high-heels, block heels and flats. The brand is notably recognised for using luxury materials like soft and comfy leather and incorporating strong geometric designs, such as the signature Clarita sandals with knotted straps. Brazil-born Alexandre Birman is inspired by the sensuality of South American women when designing his shoe collections with somewhat steep arches. The designs are becoming iconic accessories for the biggest names in Hollywood such as Blake Lively and Meryl Streep; Gisele Bündchen even sported a pair of specially made silver sandals during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
