Palm Angels Men

In 2014, designer and photographer Francesco Ragazzi published Palm Angels: a black-and-white photography book retracing the history of Los Angeles' skating scene, and a predecessor to the ready-to-wear label, launched a year later under the same name. A true artist, the Italian is renowned for his personal and authentic vision of street style and culture that he pours into Palm Angels, filling the gaps between luxury and urban fashion. This vision is shared by New Guards, a contemporary Italian streetwear collective composed of the brands Marcelo Burlon County of Milan, Off-White(TM), Ben Taverniti(TM), Unravel Project and, evidently, Palm Angels. After working as the creative director at Moncler for over 10 years, Francesco Ragazzi used his experience to create modern and laid-back collections: an instant favourite among the cool kids. According to him, the brand defines itself by blending minimalist Californian art and the softness of the golden LA sunsets. Hoodies, tracksuits, bomber jackets and ripped jeans paired with graphic print designs and unisex cuts. The immensely popular label counts Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Gigi Hadid and Future amongst its fans. Ragazzi is also increasingly collaborating with the biggest brands like Nike, Moncler and Billionaire Boys Club, to name a few.
