Born in Barcelona, Mireia Llusia-Linda wanted to conquer the world. After her studies at the University of Barcelona and in Switzerland, she also obtained a diploma in business and international management from Harvard Business School. Passionate about fashion, she worked for the luxury house of Burberry and then for the LVMH group, but this mother and businesswoman did not stop there. After moving to London, which she now considers her second home, she founded DeMellier London, a high-end accessories brand. "De" comes from her grandmother's name, descended from knights, lords and marquis from southern Spain and "Meillier" is a hint at her first name, which is French in origin. An ethical and sustainable brand making bags and accessories, DeMellier London offers a full range of models including bucket bags, pouches, shoulder bags, mini bags and totes that are all named for different cities. The favourites are the Montreal, Vancouver, New York and Tokyo. In terms of colours, black, red, off white and brown mix with more dynamic shades like olive, nude, taupe, coral, gold and pastel. Striped, quilted, with suede or crocodile texture, DeMellier London develops products that stand out for their quality and originality. Between tradition and modernity, the old and new, inspired by art, interior design and architecture, DeMellier London offers a collection of stylish bags that are easy to wear and practical for storing your day-to-day essentials. Designed in London by a team of 90% women and made in Spain, the pieces are made with sustainably-sourced leathers or natural raffia. The company donates a part of each sale to finance life-saving treatments for children in need, in places like Somalia, in partnership with the international NGO SOS Villages d'Enfants and local vaccine suppliers. Since its founding, DeMellier London has helped supply 615,000 vaccines and medical treatments to children. Among the DeMellier London collection, fashion addicts' favorite bags are the Montreal, Vancouver, New York and Tokyo models.
