Strongly inspired by her two grandmothers who were passionate about fashion, design, the sun and the sea, Marie decided to launch her own line of Mediterranean jewellery in their honour: Camille Colette Studio. In 2021, she designed her first colourful golden pieces in her signature vision of happiness. Based in the south of France, Marie takes inspiration from her surroundings, creating jewellery that is sunny and minimalist. Camille Colette Studio makes its creations with solid, high-quality materials that last. The brand offers unique 14-carat gold-filled pieces, requiring a special goldsmithing technique originating in the U.S. This thick gold is water resistant. The brand also uses 925 sterling silver, composed of 92.5% pure silver. After assembly, each piece is set, making it unique, with the addition of freshwater pearls, sea bamboo or other natural, semi-precious stones, like rhodonite, amethyst, amazonite, quartz, aventurine, lapis lazuli or citrine. A Made-in-France brand using traditional savoir-faire, Camille Colette Studio has its workshop in Bordeaux, where the jewellery is handmade, embracing the principles of slow fashion: Each item is made to order and in a limited edition. Wearable across seasons, the brand's bestsellers include the gold-filled Positano necklace with freshwater pearls, the 3X Mon Coeur necklace with its extra-fine chain, and its minimalist, pearly Nacres hoops.
